Track Running the Sahara

January 6th, 2007 by Bobbie Grennier

Sahara Desert Map Run

National Geographic has a very nice article about the journey these runners will pursue.

The three runners will actually start in St. Louis, Senegal and end at the Red Sea, near the Suez Canal (120 miles from Cairo, Egypt).

You can visit the National Geographic website to learn the whole route and the local histories of the area as briefly describe on their website.

The runners start their run in November 2006 and should reach their destination some time in February 2007, at a pace of 50 miles per day in the heat of the desert sun.

The are indeed a Sport Extreme phenomenon and it’s the Mago line of skin care products that’s keeping their skin hydrated and in great shape. These skin care products are revolutionary and an excellent value for any sports enthusiast.
